We are looking for reliable and energetic Delivery Riders to join our team. As a delivery rider, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely, safe, and accurate delivery of food/orders/packages to customers. You will represent our company, so excellent customer service and a positive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver orders to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure food items are handled with care.
- Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the delivery vehicle/bike.
- Collect payments when required (Cash/Card on delivery).
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns politely.
- Report any issues, delays, or incidents to the supervisor.
- Deliver Goods:Safely and efficiently transport goods, such as packages, food, or other items, to various destinations and customers.
- Vehicle Operation & Maintenance:Operate the assigned vehicle, which could be a motorcycle, van, or truck, following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Customer Service:Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their satisfaction.
- Loading & Unloading:Load items onto the delivery vehicle and unload them at the delivery location.
- Record Keeping & Payments:Collect signatures from recipients, process payments for deliveries, and maintain accurate records of all deliveries.
- Route Navigation:Utilize GPS and routing systems to navigate assigned delivery routes efficiently and on time.
Essential Skills & Qualities
- Strong Driving Skills: Ability to drive safely and efficiently in various conditions.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide a positive experience for customers.
- Navigation Skills: Familiarity with using GPS and mapping tools.
- Responsibility: Dependability and a commitment to meeting delivery schedules and deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to adapt and find solutions when encountering unexpected challenges, such as traffic or route changes.
- Basic Maintenance Knowledge: Understanding of how to conduct basic vehicle inspections.
Requirements:
- Valid motorcycle license (2-wheeler license).
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.
- Previous experience as a delivery rider is an advantage.
