Driver Job: As a driver, your job is to safely and efficiently transport people or goods, which includes adhering to traffic laws, planning optimal routes, and maintaining the vehicle. Key duties involve loading and unloading, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, using navigation technology, and keeping accurate records of mileage and fuel. Qualifications typically include a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
“Your Job’s tasks”
- Transport of vehicles to and from workshops, preparation stations, customs offices and between the various locations.
- Ensuring that all vehicles arrive at their destination on time and in good order.
- Vehicles are inspected for visible damage before and after the journey.
- Documentation and logging of transport processes in inventory software & the books of the red license plates
- Compliance with all relevant traffic and safety regulations.
- Taking photos for marketing purposes.
Core responsibilities:
- Transport: Safely and punctually transport passengers or cargo to designated locations.
- Vehicle maintenance: Keep the vehicle clean, stocked with fuel, and in good working order through regular inspections and maintenance.
- Navigation: Plan and follow the most efficient routes, using knowledge of the area and GPS or navigation technology.
- Loading and unloading: Handle the loading and unloading of cargo, packages, or luggage as needed.
- Record-keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communication: Report delays or issues to dispatchers and maintain professional communication with clients.
“Your Profile”
- Valid class B driving license; class BE and/or C would be an advantage.
- Several years of driving experience and familiarity with handling different types of vehicles.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong awareness of safety.
- Friendly and professional interaction with customers and service providers.
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written; knowledge of German is an advantage.
We Offer:
- A permanent full-time contract (40 hours/week) or part-time contract (at least 30 hours/week).
- Starting wage of €14.00 per hour. This can be increased with reliable performance.
