Job Overview:
As a Housekeeping Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas, ensuring everything is in top condition for our guests. You will also handle customer requests, report maintenance issues, and ensure that safety and sanitation standards are met. Key Responsibilities:
- Clean guest rooms and public areas: Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors. Dust and polish furniture and other items to keep the hotel looking spotless.
- Change linens: Replace sheets, pillowcases, and blankets to ensure a fresh, comfortable experience for each guest.
- Dispose of trash: Remove trash from rooms and other areas, ensuring proper disposal.
- Report maintenance issues: Inspect rooms for any damage or items needing repair and report them to the maintenance team.
- Provide customer service: Greet guests when they arrive and depart, assist them with any special requests, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Restock supplies: Replenish minibar items and other consumable supplies as necessary.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures: Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to the hotel’s safety and sanitation guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a positive and reliable individual who has a passion for cleanliness and hospitality. If you have previous housekeeping experience, that’s a plus, but we also welcome individuals who are eager to learn. A friendly attitude and attention to detail are essential for this role. You must be comfortable with basic cleaning duties, have an understanding of sanitation procedures, and be able to communicate in English. Additional languages are a bonus but not required.
